How is The Fearrington House Inn decorated for the holidays?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

The Fearrington House Inn knows how to get into the holiday spirit — from late November through New Year’s Day, 25 fir trees, loads of live garlands and wreaths are displayed around the grounds of the inn. Each has its own unique theme and is decorated by the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star inn’s floral designer (who also handles all of the weddings held on the countryside property). For Halloween, revelers join the inn’s chefs and gardeners in carving roughly 75 pumpkins during a village-wide shindig. Afterward, the pumpkins — some ghoulish, some whimsical — are arranged around the quaint white cottages that make up the inn.

For the holiday season, our floral design team and gardeners at The Fearrington House Inn decorate Fearrington with some 24 Christmas trees throughout the village, wreaths on every door and a fun reindeer and cow display in the village center that is lit.
