Just because you won’t find any specialty cocktails available at The Fearrington House Restaurant, doesn’t mean the bar doesn’t take its drinking seriously. You will be able to order specialty cocktails, classic mixed drinks and wine from the by-the-glass menu (featuring sparkling wine, reds, whites and featured varietals). In the gray-hued, windowed nook at the front of the restaurant, you’ll find a well-curated selection of high quality spirits along with artisanal mixers like Fever Tree tonic water, plus a citrus juicer to create fresh lemon, lime and orange juices. In line with the cuisine served at the restaurant, sommelier Max Kast also develops specialty cocktails to reflect the seasons — think cucumber martinis during summer months and crabapple martinis in the fall (made with fruit from trees growing on the property no less). Nibbles including olives and delectable cheese straws to complement the pitch-perfect drinks, as do the lovely views of the verdant garden. We can assure you that no matter what you order to drink at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant, it’ll be the perfect start to a wonderful, delicious meal.
