The Fearrington House Restaurant offers a prix-fixe menu with a couple of different options. You can go for the three-course menu, the four-course menu or the tasting menu. The three-course menu ($79) includes three of these four options: first course, second course, main course and dessert; the four-course menu ($89) includes all of them. On an average night, you’ll find a broad selection — around five to eight dishes — within each course.
The tasting menu ($125) at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant has six courses plus an amuse bouche and pre-dessert palate cleanser. For oenophiles, a wine pairing is a must. For an additional $75 per person, sommelier and wine director Max Kast chooses a wine — usually one you’re unfamiliar with — that complements each course and the season. His passion is discovering little-known wines and sharing them with guests.
Menu prices at The Fearrington House Restaurant are $79 for a three-course menu, $89 for a four-course menu and $125 for a chef’s tasting menu.
