The scene at Bistro Napa attracts a mix of diners: not just leisure and business travelers staying at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, but also locals gathering for business, for pleasure, or on their way to or from the many charity events held in the event spaces off the promenade.
The bar and lounge can get quite lively, especially during Social Hour when wine and cocktails flow. The bartenders and waiters are attractive, some almost distractingly so, and among the waiters, it seems that broad shoulders and a cool haircut are included in the job description. But staffers always are efficient and friendly — no attitude here.
Bistro Napa’s dining room is quieter, though never hushed. If you want more privacy, ask for one of the booths in the back. The tables also are spacious, with high-backed chairs that rank among the most inviting in Reno.
Though Bistro Napa sometimes attracts families, it’s not an ideal restaurant for small children, and there is no children’s menu.
