Flybridge

Exclusive fine dining with a view
VERIFIED LUXURY

Emulating the sleek dining quarters of a superyacht, Flybridge brings the best of seaborne luxury ashore in an exclusive adults-only dining room. Perched atop The Boca Raton Yacht Club, the restaurant is one of the hottest tickets in town — available only to Yacht Club hotel guests and members.

A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows affords enviable views of Lake Boca Raton and (what else?) its yacht-filled marina as you dine on a multi-course menu of seafood-forward fare featuring South Florida’s fresh catch. Nautically inspired touches are elegant, and a resort-elegant dress code keeps guests looking the part, too. Though things become a little more relaxed at breakfast, when a bountiful buffet, coffee and alfresco terrace tables set the scene for a day of waterfront exploits.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • The intimate nature of Flybridge means you’re likely to interact directly with the chefs as they add tableside touches throughout your five-course meal.
  • Subtle seafaring motifs add a nautical sense of style to the airy dining room. A clean cream color palette, wicker-accented furnishings, dark woods and pops of blue bring the ocean indoors without getting your feet wet.
  • While offerings change with the seasons, the Boca Raton restaurant’s menu comes in two variations — a seafood-forward Coastal Cuisine menu and a vegetarian-friendly version — with the option to switch between the two throughout your meal.
  • Seasonally inspired starters could include bluefin tuna tartare or heirloom tomato consommé, while main courses could feature daily fresh catch served with summer squash roulade and Kalamata olive brioche.
  • Instagram-worthy desserts take on tropical South Florida flavors for a refreshing yet indulgent end to your dining experience. Choose between plates like a passion-fruit-cremeux-filled dark chocolate sphere or a cloud-like take on Key lime pie.

The Chef

  • The kitchen at Flybridge is captained by capable Austria-born chef Peter Annewanter, whose resume reads like a who’s who of Austrian hospitality highlights.
  • The talented toque has more than 25 years of fine dining experience under his belt. Most recently, Annewanter helmed the kitchen at Vortuna Health Resort in Bad Leonfelden, Austria.
  • Prior to his arrival in Boca Raton, Annewanter honed his skills in acclaimed kitchens at Austria’s Hotel Bergergut and Hotel Aviva, and Greece’s Elounda Mare Hotel.
  • To describe how the exclusive experience at Flybridge is different from other dining venues at The Boca Raton, Annewanter likens it to how going to a concert is much more vivid than just listening to music in the car. He attributes the restaurant’s success to sourcing the best ingredients and to his own Austrian creativity.
