Our Inspector's Highlights
- The Mediterranean-meets-hacienda-inspired spa embraces San Diego’s gorgeous weather with a number of outdoor amenities, with a number of outdoor amenities, including two saltwater pools comfortably heated year-round. The Contrast Hydrotherapy Circuit, with cold plunge, steam, sauna and hot tubs, is not to be missed.
- Inside the Spa, you’ll find 11 treatment rooms, with three dedicated facials rooms, almost all with outdoor garden showers and three with unique soaking tubs.
- The 1,000-square-foot Balinese-inspired yoga pavilion is partially outdoors and is bordered by a serene and beautiful reflecting pond. The soothing sound of water adds tranquility to the lineup of sessions, which includes a variety of yoga, sculpt, barre, stretch/restorative and soundbath meditations.
- Couples can luxuriate in a wide array of packages that may include a relaxing bath or custom-blended clay-and-oil body masks followed by massages performed in tandem.
- Expectant mothers can join in on the spa wellness therapies, which provide prenatal pampering. Supportive props and pillows are provided for safety and comfort.
Things to Know
- If you’re looking to get an appointment at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa, note that it is open from 7:00 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily. The fitness center opens at 5:00 am.
- Reservations are easily made by dialing the spa concierge or sending an email.
- Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointed treatment time to fully enjoy the luxurious facilities.
- Also, be sure to bring appropriate bathing attire for the wet areas.

- Most massage options are available side-by-side, which is great for mother-daughter spa days, girlfriend getaways or romantic rendezvous for couples who wish to relax in tandem.

- Get your workout in by selecting from a robust schedule of over 100 complimentary fitness classes, including Pilates, spin, Barre and yoga in the scenic 1,000-square-foot Serenity Yoga Pavilion.
