The Taj Campton Place, a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, has two restaurants: the Campton Place fine-dining restaurant and a more casual bistro and bar. The fine-dining Campton Place has been one of the top tables in San Francisco. After losing some of its luster in the mid-2000s, Campton Place is on its way back up thanks to executive chef Srijith Gopinathan's contemporary Californian cuisine and wines selected by Master Sommelier Richard Dean. The restaurant is accessible through the hotel lobby, and a recent renovation has given the space a classic yet contemporary feel. A coral blown glass sculpture adds a flourish to the ceiling, while golden patterned carpet adds warmth to cream walls. Cozy booths and spacious tables draped in white linens provide an upscale yet intimate environment. Just outside the restaurant is the more casual Campton Place Bistro and Bar, where you can order a burger, salad, or one of many wines offered by the glass.
