Though many people likely assume that most upscale hotels in California have pools, many hotels in San Francisco surprisingly don’t – that’s why the pool at The St. Regis San Francisco is both a welcome and rare perk.
This Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s indoor heated infinity pool is located on the sixth floor, right next to the Four-Star Remède Spa San Francisco. There’s plenty of poolside seating, a food delivery menu and showers for rinsing off. After doing a few laps, you can sunbathe on cushions next to floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Yerba Buena Gardens.
We were somewhat surprised to see the pool area doesn’t have a hot tub, but if you’re desperate for a long, warm Jacuzzi soak, you’re in luck. Even though they don’t exactly publicize it, there are gender-separated saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs at the spa that you are welcome to use during your stay. The entrance is right across from the pool.
