Housed in a refurbished Depression-era auto barn, Spruce has a main dining room that seats 70 people. The environment is upscale and elegant without being stuffy, with an original skylight that sheds light on faux-ostrich seats and chocolaty mohair walls. A separate marble-topped bar provides a more casual place to grab a bite or cocktail, and it’s your best bet if (as is likely) there’s a long wait for a table. For larger groups, you can dine in one of three private rooms. In any case, be sure to reserve ahead. Even four years after opening, Spruce is popular enough to be booked at least a month in advance.
