You can find lots of reasons to celebrate during any time of the year by participating in The Phoenician's diverse holiday activities. In the spring, there’s an Easter Carnival complete with an egg hunt for children. In the summer, be sure to check out the Fourth of July All-American Ice Cream Social at this Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, topped off with a spectacular fireworks show from one of many resort balconies. In the winter, there’s a host of holiday events, from the ceremonial lighting of the Menorah to an annual Christmas Eve reading by Mrs. Claus herself. In November, try the traditional Thanksgiving brunch buffet served in the Camelback Ballroom of this Scottsdale hotel. The buffet features carved turkey breast, butternut squash stuffing, sweet potato casserole, giblet gravy and cranberry sauce, along with prime rib of beef, a tamale station, pastries and desserts.
