You’ll find complimentary coffee and pastries daily in The Cloister’s solarium, full breakfasts at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Georgian Room and a buffet at the more casual Southern Tide, but the best weekend brunch is at The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club. To get to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s sister property, hop on the complimentary shuttle. Once you’re there you’ll enjoy a sumptuous buffet-style brunch that includes meat-carving and custom omelet stations, along with a slew of Southern classics. The lovely Sunday brunch is a long-standing Southern tradition.
Of course, if you’re feeling lazy and don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your guest room or suite, you can always order breakfast from the Sea Island hotel’s in-room dining menu, which has everything from crab cakes Benedict and warm cinnamon sticky buns to a traditional BLT with applewood-smoked bacon, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and mayo.
