As if you won’t already be burning off enough calories with the slew of activities offered at The Cloister, the hotel also offers a gym, located in the 65,000-square-foot spa facility. It’s a completely separate building, practically large enough to have its own zip code. As you walk into the spa facility, you will spot a front desk with a helpful face behind it, happy to direct you to the second floor where you’ll find the gym.
The size of the gym is unbelievable, especially for a hotel gym. With squash courts and locker rooms specifically for the fitness center, you’ll have a tough time not enjoying working out here. The gym boasts 48 cardio machines, 32 of which have their own personal televisions. There are 39 weight-training machines plus a full set of free weights. To finish off your workout, there are two stretching cages, plus handy amenities such as fruit, water, towels and reading materials. You’ll also be able to participate in fitness classes as well as personal training during your stay at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort.
It’s a state of the art fitness facility including brand new Precor machines, free weight area, personal trainers are always on duty, indoor pool, two squash singles courts and one North American Doubles court, Yoga room, Spinning room, Pilates area and activity room.
