If you traveled all the way to Georgian Room for dinner, we suggest you take full advantage of its remote location off the coast of Georgia and walk its grounds. Take a leisurely stroll around the tree-filled resort (many of the oaks were planted by politicians like Margaret Thatcher and Gerald Ford) and soak in the cool coastal breezes. Afterward, head to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant and you’ll find a handsome lounge anteroom with dark wood walls, floor lamps, deep red leather armchairs and padded mustard-and-maroon chairs. It’s a great place to unwind before heading to Georgian Room’s dining area. On busier nights, a mixologist is on duty to shake up something strong, and you can always order something to sip on once you’ve sat down for your meal at the Sea Island restaurant.
