Chef Daniel Zeal and the staff at Georgian Room put as much thought and care into the bread and butter service at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant as they do the rest of their impeccable menus. Four breads are made at this restaurant that’s located inside The Cloister hotel: You’ll be offered a choice of three of them during your meal, and the fourth, a dried cherry-rosemary ciabatta, is served with the cheese course.
While we don’t suggest you fill up on pane — Zeal’s gourmet cuisine will be on its way shortly, after all — do try the signature black truffle, Fiscalini cheddar and scallion scone. A honey and roasted oat bread and petite French roll are also offered; all three are served with lightly salted, tempered butter.
