The diverse guest room configurations at Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa have one element running through them all: the color red. The vibrant red or, as the French say, rouge is part of the boutique hotel’s signature and can be found in all eight unique guest room types. The color known for arousing passion complements the rooms, which are decorated with modern Andalusian components. For example, ornate dressers were custom reproduced from an antique, shell-inlaid Mediterranean bureau that is located in the hotel’s reception area.
We recommend the Andalusia or Alhambra Suite for their spacious living areas, gas fireplaces and walk-in showers. You’ll get the best views of Thunder Mountain from the step-out Euro balconies in rooms located on the third floor. Ask for a corner suite, and you’ll get two balcons. If you prefer the ground floor, stay in the Courtyard Suite with separate office, king bed, pullout sofa bed and self-contained patio complete with a private gate to the pool and Jacuzzi — this suite is healing guru Deepak Chopra’s room of choice.
Two-room, adults-only suites with soaking tubs in the main living areas are available in the Spa at Sedona Rouge, which is located on the property but away from the main hotel reception area. All guest rooms’ amenities include custom body products formulated and made locally in Sedona, Simmons pillow-top mattresses, gourmet Illy coffee service and Kashwére chenille robes.
