The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai has just one location for weddings: the 300-person Grand Ballroom. One of the unique things about the wedding packages at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel is that they include exclusive access to shoot wedding photographs in Xintiandi, the collection of shop-and-restaurant-filled stone houses that sits across from the hotel. The Langham offers six different wedding packages at a cost of RMB6,888 (US$1,093) to RMB17,888 (US$2,838) per table of 10 (the prices exclude a 15 percent service charge). Wedding packages include a room at the hotel for the newly married couple, AV equipment in the ballroom and catering from one of The Langham’s restaurants. Choose between Cachet, the Shanghai hotel’s all-day dining restaurant that serves mostly Western food, and Ming Court, a Cantonese spot that’s the sister restaurant of the award-winning branch in Hong Kong that goes by the same name.
