The grand circular bar anchoring one end of Sir Elly’s Restaurant main dining room serves cocktails and small plates of light, sophisticated snacks. Small bites like olives, meats, cheeses and breads make up the simple bar menu. The lighter fare acts as a minor distraction from the bar and lounge area’s views out over the stunning Huangpu River. Cocktails are more the main event here and reflect chef Arnaud Berthelier’s devotion to local, fresh ingredients. You’ll find innovative champagne concoctions and other mixology-minded drinks using local exotic fruits and herbs. Wines by the glass and classic cocktails are available as well.
