Benjamin Chung, Tang Court’s sommelier, is happy to suggest wine pairings for your meal. Chung has selected three wines in particular to go along with the menu at Tang Court — Lytton Springs zinfandel 2007, Pegasus Bay Riesling 2008 and fittingly, a merlot blend from China’s Grace Vineyard, Deep Blue 2008. As you peruse the Shanghai restaurant’s iPad menu, you’ll see the wine list also includes other bottles from New Zealand, the United States and France. To go with your wine, the Chinese restaurant inside the Four-Star Langham, Xintiandi serves authentic Shanghainese, Sichuan and Cantonese fare.
