Fairmont Singapore

A scenic Singapore stay
VERIFIED LUXURY
Ultra cosmopolitan, highly cultured and incredibly varied, Singapore has long been regaled as one of Asia's most multi-faceted cities, and no place showcases that more than Fairmont Singapore, located in the City Hall district right above the Raffles City Shopping Mall.

Sure, you'll find the standard amenities of any Fairmont at this Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel — like exemplary service, luxury accommodations and a vast collection of restaurants and bars — but you'll also find a Singaporean charm that makes this location unique.

The lobby features a large white bubble chandelier that encompasses nearly half of the ceiling, and the check-in desk is illuminated by a large and colorful abstract painting. There's also a peaceful bubbling waterfall and a small flower garden off the entrance for a touch of Zen.

Plus, with 13 restaurants and bars, a full-service spa and fitness center, a pool and more, there aren't many reasons to leave your sumptuous Singapore perch.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Despite almost 800 rooms and a location on top of the bustling Raffles City Shopping Mall, the hotel, surprisingly, doesn't feel as crowded. With two towers, 12 restaurants and a large outdoor pool area, you can easily find quiet pockets to enjoy.
  • The hotel's main public spaces, like the check-in area and the restaurants, feature beautiful visual elements — from the lobby's large globe chandelier to Jaan's incredible floor-to-ceiling views.
  • With 23 treatment rooms (including two couples suites), a fully equipped gym, ample relaxation lounges, a cold plunge pool and steam and sauna rooms, the Willow Stream Spa offers endless places to unwind.
  • Any craving can be sated at this Singapore hotel, including fine dining at JAAN, authentic Italian at Prego and Japanese cuisine at Mikuni.
  • Opt for a stay in a Fairmont Gold room. These accommodations offer you access to the exclusive Fairmont Gold Lounge with complimentary snacks, unlimited drinks and VIP check-in.
Things to Know
  • The pool is shared with Swissôtel The Stamford, a neighboring property that holds more than 1,200 rooms, so it can fill up quickly, especially in the warmer months.
  • The gym has recently undergone a renovation and now features state-of-the-art equipment with SmartFit technology and personal training. Partake in daily fitness classes to keep you moving, like yoga, Pilates, zumba and more.
  • The recently renovated South Tower of the Fairmont Singapore offers beautifully appointed rooms and suites.
The Rooms
  • The Deluxe Harbour View Rooms are the most impressive, thanks to the bed's position as an island in the middle of the space, facing out to provide a prime view of Singapore’s stunning skyline.
  • While every room boasts stellar views, the real highlight is the bathroom. Each comes equipped with a luxurious rain shower and Le Labo's Rose 31 toiletries, crafted exclusively for the Fairmont.
  • At the basic level, the Fairmont Room features a private balcony, a fully equipped desk, a Nespresso coffee machine and a Bose entertainment system.
  • On the other side of the spectrum, the expansive 2,900-square-foot Presidential Suite has a large balcony overlooking the Singapore skyline, a separate dining room and living room, an opulent master bedroom, a study and a fully stocked kitchenette with pantry.
The Restaurants
  • You can’t visit Fairmont Singapore without dining at JAAN By Kirk Westaway. Located at the adjacent sister property, Swissôtel The Stamford, it serves a modern British degustation menu that changes seasonally to provide the best ingredients.
  • For a cocktail and some light bites, head to ANTI:DOTE, Fairmont's modern and sexy cocktail bar. Here, mixology reigns supreme with an inventive menu of classic and creative libations as well as tapas, like a chicken liver parfait or the pulled pork belly taco.
  • Marrying sleek modern interiors with distinct Italian accents, Prego delivers a casually elegant setting for authentic Italian fare, like handcrafted pastas and wood-fired pizzas.
  • Asian Market Café is convenient for those on the go, offering a sumptuous buffet spread for lunch and dinner daily, featuring a wide array of halal-certified meats in its pan-Asian cuisine.
