Bliss Spa at W Hong Kong

A sky-high Hong Kong spa with personality
VERIFIED LUXURY

From its perch on the 72nd floor of W Hong Kong, the 9,000-square-foot Bliss Spa was the first to launch in Asia from the New York-based brand. The spa experience centers around its perky personality, providing you with playful touches, clever treatment monikers and results-driven therapies.

At this modern spa, the fun begins in the uplifting water-themed reception area, where you will be charmed by whimsical bubble motifs and funky furniture. After check-in, it’s off to the dedicated lounge and heat facilities, where you’ll enjoy the jet-massage vitality pool and crystal steam room until it’s time for your service.

Bliss carries a full slate of treatments, but the company is especially known for its transformative facials.

Things to Know

  • To secure a session at this popular spa, we recommend making an appointment at least a week in advance for weekdays, or two weeks ahead for weekends.
  • With any facial, you can choose from a range of add-ons, such as the Fabulips. This lip facial features a smoothing scrub, peel and collagen-infused wax to leave your pretty pout looking plump.
  • The Hong Kong spa is not just a sanctuary for women. It also lures plenty of men who appreciate the deep massages, nail grooming and effective facials (like the Homme Fresh Up).
  • Should you be keen to re-create the results at home, you can peruse top products from Bliss, Elemis, Natura Bissé and SkinCeuticals at the spa shop.

The Facilities

  • Before a treatment, spend an hour or two luxuriating around the heat and water facilities. In this chamber of tranquility, you’ll find a vitality pool, sauna, steam room, pool and experience showers.
  • The Fit gym shares the same invigorating blue palette and harbor views. Inside, there’s a choice of treadmills, free weights, yoga gear and elliptical machines.
  • We love the quirky touches inside the inviting nail bar, like the conveyor-belt carrying various products and the comfy elevated pedicure banquettes. From your throne, survey Kowloon City, listen to tunes, read a book or simply watch a movie.
  • Bliss is a popular party spot for birthdays and bridal showers, thanks to its tailor-made group experiences. A day out could include personalized treatments, choice of food and beverage, themed venues and gift giveaways — all topped off with lots of bubbly.

The Treatments

  • Famous for its clever menus and friendly service, the luxury spa offers a long list of facials, body scrubs, waxing, massages and nail care. However, Bliss delivers much more than just the basics, providing technical services such as microdermabrasion, body electro-mesotherapy, RF body sculpting and face-contouring therapies.
  • The spa is best known for effective facials, its signature being the Triple Oxygen treatment. This hour-long experience unveils youthful, radiant skin using a special peel, enzyme-packed oxygen wrap and a vitaminized oxygen spray.
  • The Blissage body treatment pampers with a soothing full-body massage, as well as a warm foot wrap and leg rub to loosen up aching calves and feet — sublime after a long day of pounding the pavement in Hong Kong.
  • Pregnant guests will appreciate the dedicated spa menu, with treatments such as the Rookie Mom Rubdown (a relaxing bump-friendly massage to boost circulation and relieve swelling). Similarly, the Great Expectations is tailored for new moms with a Blissage service, as well as a moisturizing and toning belly mask.
  • The spa’s premium treatments use products from Natura Bissé, a Spanish brand that’s known for its highly concentrated, potent ingredients.
