The Royal Mansour Marrakech Spa

A pampering Marrakech paradise for the senses
VERIFIED LUXURY

Enter a temple of tranquility when you step into the confines of The Royal Mansour Marrakech Spa. A vision in white, the ethereal spa is surrounded by impressive arches and intricate patterns.

Explore beyond the atrium and you’ll find two traditional Moroccan hammams, 18 treatment rooms, a spa boutique, a hair and barber salon, a nail studio, an indoor pool and a fitness center.

The building itself is a staggering 27,000-square-foot, three-story space that’s enclosed by landscaped gardens filled with paved walkways, water fountains and aromatic lemon and orange trees.

It’s easy to while away your time in the stunning facilities, but you’ll want to book a treatment. The spa gives a great introduction to decadent Moroccan rituals.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Follow the locals and try a service in one of the hammams. The cleansing and exfoliating treatment will leave your skin glowing for weeks.
  • Pedicures are on another level at Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio. Famed podiatrist-to-the-stars Gonzalez has been hailed as a miracle worker for transforming unsightly feet back to a healthy state.
  • The Royal Mansour Marrakech Spa has a full international product menu, carrying respected names such as MarocMaroc, Dr. Hauschka and Sisley-Paris.
  • A peaceful haven bathed in natural light, the luxury spa is set in an impressive pavilion that’s encircled by a moat. Head to the orangery to lounge in a daybed by the pool or take a swim.
  • At the center of this enchanting universe is a jaw-dropping, white wrought-iron atrium, evoking an elaborate bird’s cage from your wildest dreams.

Things to Know

  • If you’re seeking added privacy, reserve one of the three spa suites. There, you can exhale to your heart’s content while enjoying a light, balanced bite that’s been prepared by the talented culinary team.
  • The Royal Mansour was one of the first spas in the world to offer Chanel-driven treatments.
  • While relaxation is always key, the Marrakech spa gives classes (Pilates, aerobics, aquaerobics) if you feel the need to burn a few calories during your visit.

The Treatments

  • The multitude of services here aim to help skin (the Anti-Aging Phyto-Aromatic Facial), soreness (hot-stone massage), soles (Bastien’s Foot Beauty) and hard-to-reach stressors (reflexology).
  • One look at the hefty treatment menu could be enough to get you tense. But rather than worry about making the right choice, stop by the facility and talk things out with an onsite expert during a personalized consultation.
  • At the heart of the spa are authentic hammams that provide you with a signature bathing ritual that combines hot saunas, fragranced steam and cold plunge pools to revitalize the body and soul.

The Facilities

  • Before or after treatments, visit the tea lounge to further relax with a light meal, an herbal brew or a fresh juice.
  • The lounge also serves healthy dishes that include salads, smoked salmon and foie gras.
  • The relaxation area is a large, white-marbled room with individual beds that are surrounded by white wooden lattice work and screened with pale gold silk curtains. Once cocooned inside, you’ll spy duvets, raw silk cushions and an engraved silver table for your belongings. Allow the sound of the fountain in the center of the room to ease you out of your post-treatment haze.
  • Your every need is catered for here. There is even a socket inside your locker so you can leave your phone charging while you spa.
