Anda Spa
Located at Hotel Ivy, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Anda Spa is named after the old Norse word for “breath” or “spirit,” and that's the focus of the nine treatment rooms. The idea when immersing oneself in this luxurious spa is to find balance and peace, be that through the treatments or an extra dose of crystal power.
The space features 10-foot floating ceilings, river rocks lining the hallways and muted rose-colored accents that play with the hues of the spa's signature stone, rose quartz. All of this is meant to give a soothing sense of order as guests wait for their treatment, Rishi tea or glass of sparkling rose wine in hand.
The crystal theme is seen throughout Anda Spa, and a personalized crystal skin care routine is available both to enjoy at the facility and/or to take home. Along this vein, try the Himalayan salt stone massage, labradorite facial and rose-quartz-infused bath soak. Other options include the crystal sauna and the quartz spa.
- Pucker up for one of two unique lip treatments. The first service features pomegranate jojoba to help naturally plump lips. It's followed by an antioxidant-rich sweet cherry puree, an ingredient used to condition and soften skin. Second, try the gold collagen lip mask, which coats the lips in age-defying nutrients and colloidal gold nanoparticles.
- For a new sensation, book the antara restore massage. Not only does this calming rubdown help the muscles relax, but by using the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD and arnica mixed with the warming kick of cayenne, it will make your body feel incredibly good throughout.
- After a treatment, relax under the light therapy shower or take a dip in a whirlpool. There's also a coed dry sauna, steam room and tranquil aura meditation lounge.
- Some treatment rooms feature dove-gray Cambria quartz walls. Notice the white streaks through them, a design feature intended to give the sense of lively electricity calmed by ocean waves.
- Book the whole spa for a private, two-hour rendezvous with a date. Dubbed The Night Spa, this special package includes creating a custom scent to be used throughout the experience, as well as a full-body dry-brush exfoliation followed by silky cocoa butter. Get a massage and hot oil scalp treatment, and choose from an eye mask or a peppermint foot therapy treatment.
- Each spa service is treated like a ritual and begins with the Naturopathica Aromatic Alchemy. It helps you set an intention for the treatment. After, there's a sort of reboot to bring you back and into the physical world.
- Inside the Minneapolis spa, guests of the hotel or those just getting a treatment can utilize the gym, with or without a personal trainer.
