How is The Point decorated for the holidays?

The Point closes down two days prior to the start of the Christmas holiday season to decorate the grounds of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel. The color scheme is pretty traditional, and keeping with the existing color palette you will find lots of red, shiny ribbons and wreaths adorning every window. Without giving too much away, do expect a huge 18-foot tree taking center stage in the Great Hall. It’s the highlight of the holiday décor. Of course, it’s a real fir tree — using a fake tree in the middle of the Adirondacks would be blasphemy — and the fresh smell alone is enough to get you in the holiday spirit.
