What are the bathrooms like in the rooms at The Point?

Several of the bathrooms at The Point have been recently upgraded. One of the most stunning bathrooms we have seen in quite some time can be found in the Boathouse. A dual, glass enclosed shower, complete with handheld and fixed rain shower attachments, a deep-soaking tub and a dual vanity area make the bathroom absolutely fabulous. The bathroom is decorated in a handsome slate tile and the wooden walls are stained a rich mahogany color. The contrasting white and blue curtains pick up on the bedroom’s nautical theme. High-end fixtures and hardware in polished chrome complete the look.

Other upgraded bathrooms have different style elements, but all stay true to the rustic style of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel. For example, upgraded bathrooms in the Main Lodge are outfitted with attractive white tile, claw-footed tub and pedestal sink, all of which evoke the Victorian era.

Keep in mind the Algonquin room in the Main Lodge only has a shower; it is likely one of the best rainfall showers we have ever experienced, so you’ll likely not even notice the absence of a tub.
