Schedule at least one in-room meal during your stay, as the room service menu at Coworth Park is as excellent as it is extensive. It is divided into two main sections: breakfast and all-day dining. For breakfast (served 6 to 11 a.m.), choose the continental option for a choice of juices (orange, grapefruit, apple, tomato, passion fruit, pineapple) and cereals (bircher muesli, homemade granola, morning flakes, bran mix) served with yogurt, fruit compote, honey and berries, plus toast, pastries and a selection of British charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses. You can also get a full English breakfast (sausages, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding and your choice of eggs), porridge with clotted cream and strawberry compote, duck eggs Benedict, omelettes and smoked haddock. Alternatively, you can opt for the Japanese breakfast of miso soup, grilled salmon or cod, braised spinach, seaweed, rice, pickles, a fruit skewer and Japanese green tea.
The all-day dining menu is served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes salads (Caesar, beetroot and goats cheese), shared plates (cured meats, smoked salmon) and sandwiches (roast beef and horseradish, club, steak, BLT). You can also order mainstays like burgers, pizza, fish and chips, penne pasta and sirloin steak. Desserts include an iced nougat parfait, bread and butter pudding and a coffee pavlova.
Afternoon tea can also be served in-room from 2 to 6 p.m. This includes finger sandwiches, scones, homemade pastries and cakes. A wine list is also available and includes reds, rosés, whites and champagnes by the bottle and glass.
