The mini-bar at the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto is filled with high-end foods and beverages that make it hard not to open the wooden drawer and pick up one of the boxes containing some of our favorite snacks. We love the crunchy caramel corn with almonds, the cheese crisps, and smoky almonds for nibbling on, but the mini chocolate chip cookies are also hard to resist. For guests enjoying in-room dining, there are plenty of spirits to pair with your meal, such as a full bottle of pinot noir (no half sizes here) as well as small bottles of Bombay Sapphire, Hennessy cognac, Grey Goose and Chivas Regal blended scotch whiskey. Cold beverages in the refrigerator just below the bar area include Fever Tree tonic for making that perfect gin and tonic, Sparkling water, cranberry juice, Coke products like Sprite and Diet Coke as well as beers like Stella Artois. The bar also houses the complimentary Nespresso machine where both tea and coffee can be made and poured into Nikko fine bone china.
