Rooms are divided into two categories at Fairmont Pacific Rim: guest rooms and suites and specialty rooms. The former category has four types of rooms, the most luxurious of which is the Signature Ofuro room. The spacious 500-square-foot room has a spa bathroom with a Japanese deep soaker Ofuro jetted tub placed in front of expansive windows showing the city skyline, and an enormous king bed situated in front of windows overlooking Coal Harbor and the North Shore Mountains. The suites and specialty rooms are each more decadent than the last, and our room looked in on the elaborate Owner’s Suite (one staff member called it “the fish bowl” for its glassed-in space) which is a two-story open-concept 2,250 space with a custom Swarovski chandelier, a 500-square-foot spa bathroom with hand-carved soaking tub, and a private gazebo with meditation pond and fire pit along with a private rooftop tented terrace. Pure wow-factor at work.
