It’s fortunate that Fairmont Pacific Rim opted to put its room service menu on the guest room iPad, because the sheer size of the menu means it’s saving a significant amount of trees that way. You’ll put your swiping finger to the test paging through the trove of dishes, wines and desserts listed within. The menu changes often with the latest offerings from in-house restaurant ORU and from the Lobby Lounge’s spirits and cocktails list. Breakfast includes all the items you’d find if you’d pulled yourself out of bed and hit ORU’s buffet, including stuffed French toast, crab benny and the gaucho frittata. From there it’s an endless list of choices: Want to have a raw bar in your room? You can do it. Craving a lobster and short rib surf and turf worthy of the finest restaurants? It’s on the list. Adhering to a vegan or gluten-free diet? It’s covered. The bottom line? There’s little you can think of that’s not available on Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, Vancouver’s room service menu (take that as a challenge).
