The 24-hour gym at Rosewood Hotel Georgia is on the larger side for an urban hotel, and what it lacks in overall square footage, it makes up for in state-of-the-art equipment. You’ll find four Cybex treadmills, three Precor ellipticals, two spinning bicycles and four seated bicycles, plus a selection of Technogym strength-training machines. All cardio machines come stocked with neatly coiled headphones, which is great since all also offer large, individual televisions and iPod docks. One piece of equipment that we were taken with, though, was the True Stretch cage, an apparatus that resembles a jungle gym but which helps you properly and efficiently stretch your muscles after a workout to produce a relaxed and tension-free body. We also love that the gym offers luxe little extras, like chilled towels, iced tea and cold water and a selection of magazines like Men’s Health and Popular Mechanics. Pumping iron not your idea of fun? For a less intense workout, don’t miss the hotel’s yoga classes, conducted in the small studio area adjacent to the gym. You might be on vacation, but we can all use a little extra Zen in our lives, can’t we?
