You won’t find a ton of amenities at the 52-foot heated, indoor, saltwater lap pool at Rosewood Hotel Georgia, located on the second floor of the hotel, located between Sense Spa and Reflections, the outdoor bar and lounge that gets bustling around cocktail hour. However, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, it’s a tranquil spot for swimming laps, and the pool floor itself features a bold geometric design that changes color every few seconds, going from blue to green to red to purple, as though you are at an underwater disco of sorts. There’s no lifeguard or pool attendance, but you will find comfortable lounge chairs topped with pillows lining the pool, and a supply of oversized, off-white beach towels. The small adjacent locker room offers you lockers, a shower and a swimsuit dryer. We recommend taking a refreshing dip, then quickly rinsing off before heading to Reflections for a post-swim beverage (get either the gin-based Hotel Georgia cocktail accented with orgeat (almond) syrup and orange blossom water or the Smoking Maria, a smoky blend of chorizo fat-washed mezcal, tomato juice and roasted tomatoes). Securing a cocktail following a swim has never been easier.
