The locker room area is small at The Jefferson, Washington, D.C., but it matches the size of the accompanying gym. The locker room area, which is really just a part of the gym's entrance, you'll find a bowl of fresh Granny Smith apples, a cabinet filled to bursting with complimentary bottles of water and another cabinet stuffed with fluffy towels. There are only a few lockers here, but they're free and they lock.
Upon entering the fitness area at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, you’ll see a magazine area stocked with D.C.’s favorite news and policy publications, men's and women's magazines, newspapers and nature and science reads. There are also bagged headphones for use with the gym's cardio equipment, and a bowl of apples. If you want to swim, you'll have to take your workout elsewhere. The Jefferson has no onsite swimming pool, but you do have access to the University Club of Washington, D.C., which is located less than a block away. Here, you can take a dip, enjoy the hot tub and schedule a session with a personal trainer.
