You’ll find special views when dining at JORY at The Allison Inn. Every table can look out through the wall of windows to see conifer groves, lovely gardens and woven grape vines. It’s a nice glimpse of the Willamette Valley landscape. However, foodies may be more interested in watching the chefs in action in the open kitchen. Sit at one of 10 cushy chairs at the chef’s counter to get a birds-eye view of toques in crisp whites filleting, grilling, smoking and sautéing inside the kitchen of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant. We think they are the best seats in the house. In the summertime, sunset and a glass of sparkling wine on the outdoor terrace overlooking gorgeous wine country vistas can’t be beat.
