On Siargao Island’s southeastern coast, Nay Palad Hideaway sits between a white-sand beach and an ancient mangrove forest. Reimagined by architect and designer Daniel Pouzet after Super Typhoon Odette devastated the resort in 2021, the property was rebuilt with an emphasis on Filipino craftsmanship, from nipa-thatched roofs to hand-carved furnishings to woven details found around the signature spa. Its villas open onto gardens or the sea, while treehouse-style lounges and secluded beach nooks extend the living spaces outdoors.
Dining follows the same unstructured approach: meals can be served in the restaurant pavilion, on the beach or in tucked-away spots around the property, with chefs working alongside local farmers, fishermen and foragers for meals. Beyond the beach, the luxury resort supports coral restoration, mangrove conservation and community projects across Siargao, tying the experience to the island’s natural environment and communities.
