Albert Hotel

A Hill Country landmark reimagined
A DISTINCTIVE HOTEL IN ITS DESTINATION

On Fredericksburg's bustling Main Street, Albert Hotel occupies a cluster of restored 19th-century buildings, including the old Keidel family pharmacy and one of the town's first saloons. The 105-room property takes its name from architect and collector Albert Keidel (great-grandson of the town's first physician), whose globetrotting eye shows throughout. San Saba pecan-based toiletries and Italian linens sit against original brick and tile, tied together with a desert-inspired palette of sage green and stone. Keidel’s granddaughter bakes all the breads and pastries served on property, and floral installations throughout echo the surrounding desert landscape.

Dining, which spans four venues, is anchored by The Wellhouse, where acclaimed chef Michael Behan builds seasonal menus around Hill Country ingredients. Beyond the lobby, you can grab barbecue at Junebug's, coffee at The Pharmacy or cocktails at The Saloon.

A sunken limestone pool modeled after classic Texas swimming holes and a full-service spa add to the offerings, alongside a dog-friendly policy that includes complimentary beds and bowls.
