About the Seminar
How successful your hotel is in recovery depends on your ability to restart your operation while dealing with uncertainty and resource constraints. This one-day online seminar for senior management offers a unique hands-on simulation and guidance from two renowned hospitality business experts about critical choices that can make all the difference.
Using a model hotel in New York City (based on real, composite STR data) and a computer-driven simulation, you will practice decision-making for post-lockdown reopening. The virtual seminar is delivered live by Cornell University School of Hotel Administration professor emeritus
Cathy Enz and legendary hotelier
Ali Kasikci.
You and your fellow participants will spend a day in an immersive learning experience, faced with key decisions on room rates, food & beverage pricing, sales and marketing tactics, employee staffing, pay levels, and training and supplier cost choices – all in a complex, competitive environment.
A combination of lecture, simulation play, feedback, discussion and Q&A, this seminar offers an opportunity for experimentation and discussion that will help prepare you for challenging real-world decisions in a vastly changed business environment.
