Spa du Lac

Rejuvenation in Lake Charles
VERIFIED LUXURY
The world disappears when you enter Spa du Lac at L’Auberge Casino Resort, a full-service spa and salon offering a myriad of services designed to pamper, relax and rejuvenate.

Before enjoying a massage or body treatment, you’ll want to unwind in the spa’s quiet room with its soothing music and refreshments or visit the accompanying sauna or whirlpool before freshening up in the vanity areas. But if you prefer to have an in-room massage or a treatment outside in a poolside cabana, those services can easily be arranged.

Our Inspector's Highlights
• Spa du Lac offers 8,700 square feet of space for its salon, eight massage rooms, relaxation areas and its well-equipped fitness center.

• Skincare products sold at Spa du Lac include Priori Lash Recovery Serum with Triple Lipopeptide Complex, which helps to intensify the appearance of eyelashes and eyebrows, the SkinCeuticals advanced skincare line that was derived from skin cancer research to both correct the signs of aging and prevent further skin damage from the sun, and beauty products from Sothys of Paris.

• Once inside, the mood is decidedly peaceful and serene, with soft music playing, lit candles, cool refreshments and comfy chairs to relax in before massages or body treatments.

• Both men and women have access to relaxation rooms, saunas, whirlpools and vanity areas so there’s plenty of time to unwind or enjoy additional services.

• Although there are televisions in the relaxation rooms, the general consensus among spa visitors is to keep them turned off and the outside world at bay.
Things to Know
• Spa du Lac is open for spa treatments from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and for salon services from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The locker room and fitness center have different hours of operation than the spa facility, opening bright and early each day at 6 a.m.

• The best way to get an appointment at the resort spa by visiting the resort’s website or by making a phone call.

• If you’re staying on property, dial the spa’s in-house extension (7768) to request services and treatments.

• Advance reservations are recommended but walk-in appointments are allowed, subject to availability, with a 10-minute lead time.

• Because the amenities are as wonderful as the services, we advise allowing time before or after your treatments to take it all in.
The Treatments
• The most popular massage at Spa du Lac remains the Swedish, with its light to moderate pressure for relaxation, but those wanting a more firm touch may prefer the “Therapeutic,” which is customized to hit problem areas.

• The 25-minute “Quick Fix” loosens up muscles and also may be tailored, while the Head, Hand and Feet massage focuses on those areas and includes a scrub and mask for your tootsies and oil for the scalp.

• Specialized massages include the Mommy-To-Be pre-natal service for those in the second and third trimester.

• The Massage Flame treatment is quite generous with its use of its aromatherapy and coconut oil wax.

•  “Ritual of the Orient,” can be added to a Swedish massage and uses Orient spice aromatherapy and a warm oil-soaked compress for both moisturizing and relaxation.
The Facilities
• The spa includes a fitness center with Cybex cardio machines and weight training equipment.

• There’s also a full-service salon that provides a modest list of services, which include manicures, pedicures, hairstyling and makeup.

• Skincare products as well as beauty items forgotten at home may be purchased from the spa shop and locker rooms are available for both men and women.
