The gym at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston makes working out a breeze. It’s a state-of-the-art fitness center with Technogym equipment, a personal Kinesis Wall (which consists of panels of grips that allow you to build strength using all kind of movements) and a Pilates and movement studio. There’s a Pilates reformer available for anyone to use (though the spa highly recommends you only use it if you’re been trained to do so) and plenty of cardio machines with individual TVs. There are fitness center attendants available to guide you on the machines, if necessary, and personal trainers can be hired to come in for individual training needs.
We recommend a good workout prior to your spa treatment, including the use of the personal Kinesis Wall (the latest fitness craze uses resistance combined with movement so you burn up to 30 percent more calories than traditional exercises). The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and is available to spa guests, guests of the hotel and residents of the Mandarin Oriental, Boston.
