There is no lap pool at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston, but there are vitality pools in the locker rooms. These pools are available for use during your spa visit and are great for soothing aching muscles after a workout. The vitality pools are set to 102 degrees and are intended for quick soaks (10 to 15 minutes at a time). They are highly enriched with oxygenated water, designed to relax tired, aching muscles and joints; create softer, healthier skin; and increase overall energy. The spa suggests you move from the vitality pool directly into a quick ice shower for a truly relaxing and refreshing experience. We wouldn’t say jumping into an ice shower is relaxing, but it sure does wake you up.
