Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s five gorgeous golf courses make it a duffer’s dream. The most difficult and renowned of the bunch is the Ocean Course, home to the 2012 PGA Championships and created by premier course designer Pete Dye. Turtle Point, designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, offers three holes overlooking the ocean. Osprey Point by Tom Fazio has four large natural lakes and gorgeous woods. Or try Cougar Point, designed by Gary Player and praised for its views of the Kiawah River. Holes at Oak Point by Clyde Johnson wind between historic Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River. Each course takes advantage of the beautiful Low Country vistas; the marshland, oceanfront, moss-draped oak trees, palm trees and meticulously kept fairways are guaranteed to create a memorable round on the green.
