The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island has four pools for you to enjoy — three outdoors and one inside. A small kiddie pool welcomes children, while a large pool sits in the center of the pool area with a central fountain and plenty of soft lounge chairs. The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island also has an adults-only infinity pool that allows you to enjoy a swim or good book in peace. The pool staff makes up your lounge chair for you with three towels that create a bed-like experience, complete with one towel rolled up into a pillow. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s pool grounds are kept immaculate and the entire area has a view of the dunes and glimpses of the ocean to soothe you as well. Inside, a large lap pool can be found next to the gym in a fully enclosed area. Much of this enclosure is glass, giving you views of the beautiful Sanctuary grounds.
The Sanctuary has three outdoor pools: a small children’s pool, a large family pool with a fountain, and an oceanfront infinity pool for adults 18 and older. The hotel also has an indoor lap pool that is perfect for splashing around in the winter months. In addition to the four pools located at The Sanctuary, guests of the hotel also have access to two water parks on Kiawah. Get onboard a complimentary resort shuttle and visit the splash pads and water slides located at Kiawah Island’s Night Heron Park and West Beach, a mere 5 – 7minutes away from the hotel.
