Just like the bathrooms in standard guest rooms at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, the spacious suite bathrooms are perfect for those who spend hours getting ready. The difference between the two is that the bathrooms in the suites have large standing showers with both a rain showerhead and wand showerhead, as well as a small tiled seat. Two sinks give ample grooming space, and the toilet is enclosed behind a separate plantation shutter door. A large, deep soaking tub is partially surrounded by plantation shutters that open up for a view of the room that could even extend to a view through the balcony doors as well. The bath products of choice are Elemis with a shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion in soothing scents. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel creates a spa-like atmosphere in the bathrooms by adding simple décor, including a large mirror, sand-colored tiles and classic black hardware.
