When you dine at Coast at Ocean House in Rhode Island, you can look forward to special gifts from the chef throughout the meal. First, the chef will send out an amuse-bouche as a way to open the meal and whet your appetite for an evening of delicious food. Often during the meal, the chef will send out a bonus course that features a small portion to cleanse the palate and make way for the entrée to come. A dessert amuse-bouche is served before the final sweet course. Finally, after you are completely satisfied there is one more surprise: As you exit the restaurant you can pick and choose from a display of mignardises like cookies, biscotti, macaroons and candies to add to a bag to take and enjoy the next time you have an appetite.
