Therapists at Spa at The Broadmoor offer several options for massages. You can book a classic Swedish massage, a deep-tissue rubdown or the combination of both that make up the spa’s signature massage for 50, 70 or 90 minutes (prices range between $140 and $265). Or go for the gusto with the Ashiatsu Deep Therapy Massage — thereby placing yourself in the feet, rather than the hands, of your therapist for an intense 70-minute session ($215). Gentle pre-natal massages of 50 or 70 minutes are available for expectant mothers ($145 to $190). And for couples, there’s a sumptuously appointed private room at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa where you can receive your choice of all but the ashiatsu massages. Either way, you’ll find the right massage to knead out your knots.
The Spa offers four different types of massage experiences (each massage is 50 to 70 minutes or 90 minutes in length). We offer traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue massages as well as our Signature Massage service and Ashiatsu Deep Therapy.
Our signature massage creates carefree comfort and is the ultimate massage experience. A wonderful combination of Swedish and firm focused pressure will ensure complete relaxation from head to toe. This service begins with an inhalation to calm and ground the body, followed by a full body and scalp massage, concluded with your feet encompassed in warm towels and a soothing foot massage.
Perfect for the athlete or experienced Spa patron, the Deep Tissue massage is a hearty and refreshing service that relieves areas of tension or pain. Calculated, firm pressure helps break down knots to improve muscle mobility. This deep, luxurious technique comes from the oriental tradition of ashi meaning foot and atsu meaning pressure. Ashiatsu is performed by the therapist with his or her bare feet on a massage table while bars attached to the ceiling offer the therapist support and balance. Traditional work with hands on select areas is included. Limitations apply.
