Sinatra

VERIFIED LUXURY
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas' signature restaurant pays homage to Ol' Blue Eyes in more than name alone. At the Four-Star Sinatra, framed images of the famous crooner line the cream-colored walls and his voice provides a pleasant backdrop for dinner conversation.

Celebrated chef Luke Palladino continues the salute with sophisticated Italian fare fit for the Rat Packer himself. On the menu, the pastas read as simple and straightforward, though they taste anything but.

The lasagna bolognese incorporates veal, pork and beef between layers of heavenly hand-rolled pasta, and the agnolotti stuffed with bufala ricotta is surprisingly light and airy. The chicken saltimbocca is another sure bet, improved upon with a side of herb-potato gnocchi.

The intimate dining room is often filled with two-tops looking for a romantic alternative to the frenzied pulse of Vegas. And what's more romantic than spending a night with Sinatra?

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • A see-and-be-seen atmosphere, the buzz of a crowd and the classic songs of Frank Sinatra playing in the background add to this Las Vegas restaurant’s charm.
  • Unlike other celebrity namesake restaurants, where you can sit virtually ignored, Sinatra has a top-notch waitstaff that is extremely attentive and as good as you’ll find on the Strip. Any and all needs are taken care of quickly, as if you’re actually a member of Frank’s Rat Pack.
  • The menu at Four-Star Sinatra is pleasing for those who expect an Italian dining experience, but also includes enough choices for those wanting to go in a different dining direction.
  • There are several tables at Sinatra that overlook a self-contained garden outside. The garden offers low, manicured bushes, hundreds of deep red flowers and a gigantic fireplace.
  • The wine list is a reflection of Frank Sinatra himself, featuring both Italian and American wine. Sinatra offers many special and rare bottles, but one standout is the five-liter bottle of 2008 Sinatra Family Estate “Nothing But the Best” cabernet sauvignon — a limited edition offering with a glass-etched label signed by Nancy Sinatra.

  • Forget the dessert road most taken and try the ricotta and chocolate lollipops, a unique combination that arrives in three portions.
The Design
  • Sinatra is a time-traveling trip back to an era of supper clubs with clinking glasses and the roar of the crowd in the background.
  • You expect to see Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. sitting in a corner table in the large dining room with its deep red tablecloths, beige walls and large portrait of Ol’ Blue Eyes on the main wall.
  • A pair of nine-foot-tall crystal beaded obelisks made in Sicily in the 1920s welcome diners. The walls are also covered in large mirrors, which are fitting for a place where the famous in Vegas arrive to see and be seen.
  • There is also an outdoor garden portion of the Four-Star restaurant for dining alfresco. It looks like you’ve stepped into a real Italian garden complete with red tablecloths, red chairs, deep red flowers, white stately columns, manicured green bushes and a large roaring fireplace.
