Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

A classy and chic Las Vegas boutique hotel
The Four-Star Encore at Wynn Las Vegas delivers the same exceptional service and class as its flagship property, Wynn Las Vegas, but with a boutique vibe. The casual elegance of the décor is both playful and intimate, from the vibrant red chandeliers in the casino to the alluring golden buddha in the spa to the signature butterfly motif fluttering throughout the property (said to portend good luck). Guest suites have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Strip, swiveling flat-screen TVs and limestone and marble baths.

With five restaurants onsite, your taste buds will want for nothing. The spa gets top billing in Las Vegas with 37 treatment rooms in which to enjoy a treatment. And if the tables have been good to you, book a VIP table at XS, one of Vegas’ hottest nightclubs, where a wading pool and a ten-foot rotating chandelier over the dance floor are just part of the experience.
Our Inspector's Highlights
• To simply call Encore at Wynn Las Vegas modern would be rather limiting. Countless details like brightly colored Murano glass chandeliers, the houndstooth pattern found in many accessories and mosaic-tiled floors create a bold, artsy vibe.

• Dreaming of a Chanel handbag? Head to the Esplanade at Wynn and Encore — impeccably decorated indoor walkways that house highly regarded designer shops. America’s only Rolex brand store can be found here.

• If you’re craving entertainment, the Encore Beach Club is a lively day club that plays host to world-famous DJs throughout the summer and into fall.

• Wynn Golf Club is the only resort golf course on the Strip. It’s a par-70, Tom Fazio-designed haven where you don't even have to bring your own equipment — the use of Callaway clubs is complimentary.
Things to Know
• Keep in mind that, not unlike most Las Vegas hotels, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas will implement a resort fee of $25 automatically. This means you’ll get two passes to the gym everyday, unlimited calling and in-room Internet access.

• We don’t have enough good things to say about The Spa at Encore. Top-notch treatments, plunge pools and Jacuzzis and an eclectic aesthetic are just some of the reasons it earned a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating.

• The hotel's pools are beautifully landscaped showpieces with plenty of cabanas, daybeds and lily pads for lounging.

• Just because you don’t eat meat or dairy doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the onsite restaurants. In fact, all five signature restaurants offer vegan menus.
The Rooms
• The suites at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas blend modern sophistication with playful intrigue thanks to a simple color palette of tan, black and white, floor-to-ceiling windows and idiosyncratic details.

• Some rooms have a houndstooth accent wall, which we hear is Steve Wynn’s favorite pattern and some also feature a solid wall of floor-to-ceilings mirrors, which is as glamorous as being backstage at a Las Vegas-only show.

• Each suite is complete with a Sharp LCD flat-screen television, as well as a 19-inch hidden flat-screen TV in the bathroom wall.

• The technological luxuries don’t end there, though. An iHome, which connects with iPods, sits on your nightstand, and a bedside panel controls the lights, drapes, your alarm and the do not disturb sign.
The Restaurants
• Pan-Asian restaurant Wazuzu’s bright red walls are adorned with an enormous 27-foot dragon made up of 90,000 Swarovski crystals. Executive chef Jet Tila offers authentic bistro-style dishes that reflect each cuisine separately.

• Society Café Encore’s architectural ceiling, green accents and enormous hot pink banquette make the space feel both funky and regal at the same time. The cafe serves modern American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner (making it the most accessible of the bunch).

• Botero, which specializes in juicy, well-cooked meat, was named after Colombian artist Fernando Botero, and his artwork can be admired in the restaurant’s private gallery. It’s hard to miss the giant Fertility Goddess statue in the center of the restaurant or the poolside views.

• Encore's newest dining addition, Andrea's, blends a high-style restaurant concept with nightlife elements; a DJ starts spinning there at 9:30 p.m.

• And certainly don't miss the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant Sinatra. Executive chef Theo Schoenegger prepares mouth-watering Italian fare that diners enjoy while surrounded by memorabilia and photos of the legendary Frank Sinatra.
