Runners looking for an outdoor jogging path near Altira Macau have a few options. There’s a trail with great views of Cotai just a short walk away from the hotel, and the nice thing about this one is that you can choose between either hilly or flat terrain. You can also jog across the Lotus Bridge to the Macau Peninsula; the return trip is about 3 miles, running against the traffic. Of course, you can always just head to the luxury Macau hotel's 16th-floor gym and hop on one of the treadmills or other cardiovascular machines.
If you’re interested in more routes or a particular kind of route, we found the trainer on duty at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s gym to be a great source for recommendations. Feel free to stop by the gym before you venture out to grab a complimentary bottle of water and ask the staff for directions to your preferred route.
