Altira Macau is best equipped for intimate, somewhat untraditional wedding receptions since there isn’t a large ballroom onsite capable of accommodating large wedding parties. Indoor and outdoor reception spaces are available at the hotel’s four signature restaurants — Aurora being the best option — but we feel this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is better suited for an elegant rehearsal dinner rather than a wedding, particularly given the grand ballrooms and dedicated wedding spaces available at other top Macau hotels such as Four Seasons Hotel Macau and MGM Macau.
If you’re determined to have a wedding reception at the luxury Macau hotel, however, it would most likely be held at Aurora or, perhaps, the rooftop 38 Lounge, which features a beautiful indoor space that overflows to an outdoor patio with dazzling views over the Macau Peninsula.
The best spot to host a wedding reception is at Aurora restaurant, either inside or on the outside patio. The warm chocolate browns, copper hardware and rich details of the restaurant’s interior can provide an intimate and warm wedding for you and your guests. Another option is the 38 Lounge, which has an indoor space that leads to an outdoor patio rooftop. Given enough notice, we will try our best to work with you to plan your dream wedding.
