You’ll find a wide array of cardiovascular equipment at the gym in Altira Macau. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s gym has five treadmills, two stationary bikes, two reclining bikes and three elliptical machines, all with their personal LCD screens with 58 channels. From the 16th floor, you’ll be able to enjoy Altira’s signature view of the water and Macau Peninsula as you work out on pretty much every piece of equipment. The gym is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and a personal trainer available to work with you for a fee (though you should feel free to ask for a few simple workout pointers, if you prefer to workout solo). Just down the hall from the pool, the gym has the feel of a health club. You’ll find cool water, towels, headphones and reading materials on hand, as well as fresh fruit.
When you need to work off your late-night meal you ordered from room service, head to our gym at Altira Macau to fit in a good cardio session. The gym is equipped with five treadmills, two stationary bikes, two reclining bikes, and three elliptical machines. All of our cardio machines feature LCD screens with 58 channels, just in case the view out of the windows isn’t enough to distract you from the sweat dripping down your forehead. Another option is to head our infinity-edge pool and swim a few laps — plus, the underwater music is so relaxing.
