Though Altira Macau does not have specific activities for children, young guests will love visiting Altira’s sister property, Crown Towers. It’s part of the City of Dreams and has an amazing array of activities for kids from the Dragon’s Treasure show in The Bubble (it only lasts 10 minutes or so) to the virtual aquarium in The Boulevard. City of Dreams, a short shuttle ride away from Altira, also boasts of Macau’s largest kids attraction known as Kid City where parents can drop off their kids for an afternoon of supervised climbing, games or playing dress up. On Sundays, brunch at Aurora in the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is a treat for children: magicians and other entertainers are there to make the morning fun for the whole family.

Although we don’t provide specific activities for kids at Altira Macau, our sister property, City of Dreams, is fully equipped with plenty to entertain the family. The Dragon’s Treasure show is a visual extravaganza, held in The Bubble which is the world’s largest projection dome and cost nearly $40 million to create. City of Dreams is just a short shuttle ride away from our hotel, and offers a giant play area: Kid’s City. At Kid’s City there are four play zones: Create, Dream, Excite and Explore, focused on interactive learning and social interaction. Kids can play dress-up, coast down giant slides, create art projects and interact with arcade and video games. Altira Macau hosts Sunday brunch at Aurora, where a magician and a clown are present to entertain the whole family. Additionally, the infinity-edge swimming pool is a great activity for children.
