Altira Macau’s cancellation policy requires that you give notice at least a day prior to your scheduled arrival by 6 p.m. Altira is typically fully booked, so consider yourself lucky that you snagged your reservation and try not to cancel it unless circumstances make it absolutely necessary to do so. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is particularly full in September because of the Macau International Fireworks Display Contest, which pits countries like China, the United Kingdom, Australia, France and the Philippines against one another to see who can outshine the others with dazzling lights. Altira’s prime location and the rooms’ floor-to-ceiling windows offer the perfect view of the fireworks launching over the water. You won’t want to cancel and miss this event.
If something comes up at the last minute and you have to put off your luxury vacation to Macau, let us at Altira Macau know as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is simple: As long as you cancel one day in advance of your initial check-in date, you’ll be fine. However, if it’s less than 24 hours in advance, you’ll be subject to fees. Therefore, it’s always a good idea to keep Altira Macau’s reservation numbers on hand just in case. We are normally extremely busy during the month of September when we host a number of guests who are in town for the international fireworks festival in Macau. If you plan on visiting around this time, it’s best to book far in advance!
